A full day guided tour through two of the prime visitor attractions in the Rotorua geothermal region including all transport, admission, guide and lunch. This sightseeing tour shows you the old and the new - celebrating Rotorua's unique biodiversity.
You'll visit 1,000 year old Whirinaki Forest, saved from logging by dedicated New Zealand conservationists in the 1960's. Today when we stand in awe of its magnificent trees and its crystal clear waters, we celebrate their vision and tenacity. And you'll discover amazing Waimangu Volcanic Valley, the youngest geothermal area in the world and home to world unique geothermal features, including the world's largest hot spring and the world's largest geyser-like feature. The protected forest covering Waimangu is New Zealand’s only example of a native forest emerging from the complete devastation of a volcanic eruption.

Departs Rotorua accommodation daily, between 08.30am and 08.45am, returning at 5.00 pm.
