WAIMANGU VOLCANIC VALLEY

'The world's youngest geothermal system'
TripAdvisor Reviews rate Waimangu No 1 attraction in Rotorua

"Best Part of Rotorua! We spent four days in Rotorua, and did a few walking trips around the town to the nearby volcanic spots but they were nothing compared to the amazing features you see at Waimangu...... I had never seen anything like it.......We arrived early in the morning, and we were the only two people there. We didn't see anyone else until we started on the way back up. If you're worried about this being an over commercial "jungle" walk, you have nothing to worry about."  Reviewed by Steve of Calgary, 21 January 2012
